Personal Security Detail (PSD)
The PSD Course provides professional, mission-oriented training for the structured protection of individuals in complex and dynamic operational environments. Its objective is to enable protective assignments to be carried out safely, efficiently and tactically within a team framework—from planning through to post-operation review.
Key areas of focus include team structures and roles within a Protective Security Detail, tactical movement formations, advance and reconnaissance procedures, secure vehicle and convoy techniques, response to threats, as well as emergency and evacuation measures. Particular emphasis is placed on communication, command processes and coordinated cooperation within the protection team.
